On April 3, 2023, PowerTap, a leader in the development and production of hydrogen fueling stations, announced a letter of intent with Newport Realty Group for the development of a retail energy center. The center will provide hydrogen fueling stations for the growing number of fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) on the road today, as well as for the many more expected in the coming years. Prosper Architects is excited to have been a part of designing this innovative and forward-thinking project.
This new partnership between PowerTap and Newport Realty Group is a step forward in addressing the demand for clean energy alternatives in the transportation sector. FCEVs produce zero emissions and offer a viable solution to the problem of air pollution, especially in heavily populated areas. With the growth of FCEVs, the need for hydrogen fueling infrastructure has become increasingly important, and PowerTap is leading the charge.
Prosper Architects is thrilled to have been a part of this exciting project, which will help reduce our dependence on fossil fuels and pave the way for a cleaner, more sustainable future. The center is designed to be user-friendly and accessible, with the latest technology and safety features, making it easy and convenient for consumers to fuel up their FCEVs. The center will also include a convenience store and other amenities, making it a one-stop-shop for drivers.
PowerTap CEO, Raghu Kilambi, expressed his excitement about the partnership, saying, “We are thrilled to be working with Newport Realty Group on this innovative project. With their expertise in commercial real estate, and our expertise in hydrogen fueling technology, we are confident that we can create a state-of-the-art energy center that meets the needs of today’s drivers and the demands of the future.”
In conclusion, this new partnership between PowerTap and Newport Realty Group is a step forward in creating a cleaner, more sustainable future. Prosper Architects is proud to have played a part in designing this exciting new project, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact it will have on the transportation industry and the environment.
