When our client took over an existing restaurant space, they faced the challenge of adapting it to fit the unique branding and operational needs of Chicken in a Barrel, a Kauai-based barbecue chicken restaurant. The goal was to retain and repurpose some of the existing kitchen equipment while completely reconfiguring the space to enhance efficiency and create a welcoming dining atmosphere.
Our team approached the project with a strategic focus on maximizing functionality and maintaining brand consistency. By carefully assessing the existing equipment, we determined what could be integrated into the new kitchen layout and designed custom solutions to bridge any gaps. In the dining area, we optimized the flow and seating arrangements to create an inviting and comfortable experience for customers.
The transformation resulted in a thoughtfully designed restaurant that seamlessly blends efficiency with a strong brand identity. Chicken in a Barrel has quickly become a popular destination for high-quality barbecue, with an enhanced layout that supports smooth operations and an engaging dining environment. The smart reuse of resources helped keep costs down while ensuring a fresh and cohesive restaurant experience.
